The big day. The bride and groom will be dressed in Bhutanese attire and will be picked from your hotel. You will head towards a monastery where the head lama will preside over the traditional marriage ceremony. You will be officially wed. You will then head towards a camp where you will be the official hosts where traditional Bhutanese dance programs will be hosted. You will receive guests at the camp who will take part in your wedding and offer you their wishes. You will also host a lunch for all the guests. An evening candlelight dinner for the bride and groom at a local luxury hotel. Overnight in your hotel in Thimphu. Happy honeymoon.
Thimphu sightseeing. You will visit the biggest Buddha statue in the world, the mini Takin zoo, and the Changangkha temple and you will spend the first day of your married life in the capital Thimphu. You will have a relaxed day.
You will head towards Punakha. Stopover at Dochula. You will visit the chimed Lhakhang, the fertility temple, and receive blessings for a happy married life. In Punakha, you will visit the most beautiful fortress in Bhutan – the Punakha Dzong. Overnight in a hotel in Punakha.
You will drive towards Trongsa. Visit the Trongsa Dzong. Stay in a hotel in Trongsa.
Bumthang sightseeing. You will visit the 7th-century Jambay Lhakhang and the Kurjey temple. You will also visit some other temples and explore Bumthang Valley.
Drive to Phobjikha. You can choose to stay in a hotel or in a local farmhouse. Phobjikha is the most beautiful valley in western Bhutan.
